How Big Is Yours?
In these days of ubiquitous broadband (well, the priviliged ubiquiterati, anyway), download file sizes are becoming less of an issue.
But 60MB for a mouse driver? A mouse driver?
I guess it'll have to wait until my 2746MB download of SQL Server Developer Edition from MSDN finishes.
You could almost imagine Intel being right at home as an ISP.
I've disabled comments for now due to spam problems - I'll turn them back on when I've fixed it!

It's the reason for the size of the download that gets me... It's not just a mouse driver (which is all I actually want!), it's probably also all kinds of cruft that I don't want but have no way of avoiding installing!

Indeed. Device manufactures seem to regard your computer as a handy billboard for their brand - desktop icons, system tray tools, configuration programs that don't conform to any HIG known to man.
Logitech are pretty bad at this, Sony too. They just have no taste.
